Last year we had the honour of being asked to create the Bridal party flowers for Lyndsay & Rob’s wedding and there isn’t really much I can say that the wonderful photographs from Shan’s Photography don’t show!
Their colour scheme was lilac and ivory with touches of darker purple, so we used ‘Ocean Song’ roses mixed with varieties of Lisianthus and other pretty summer flowers.
Lyndsay chose a slim teardrop bouquet with crystals among the flowers to compliment the detail on her dress and catch the light as she walked down the aisle.
A classic choice like this matched her dress perfectly, as none of it was fussy or overpowering and because there are lots of different shades of purple, it meant the flowers looked great against the lilac of the Bridemaids dresses…. sometimes trying to perfectly match a flower colour to a fabric can be impossible!
