Have a creative Christmas….

Well, our Christmas workshops are nearly over for 2012 and I can’t believe how quickly December is going!  If you came to any of our workshops I really hope you went away inspired and if you didn’t make it, hopefully this post will get your bells a-jingling!

I always keep an eye out when I’m on the internet for ideas that we can use or adapt in the shop and bookmark any useful tutorials for future reference.  These are a few of my favourites and I would love to see if anyone has a go at them!

Paper wreath

I love the simplicity of this paper wreath... a great way to use up any odds and ends of wrapping paper!

Another lovely idea from The Simple Things are these cute stamps… perfect for adding the finishing touch to Christmas Cards or wrapping paper.  I did a bit of research for you and know that Sweet Ginger Emporium in Ramsey stocks a variety of small wooden shapes like those in the picture, so all you have to do is find the corks…. Mulled wine anyone!?

Snowflakes-hanging-in-windo_thumb

Whenever I try to make paper snowflakes they always end up looking like something I would of made in playschool!  Visit InMyOwnStyle for easy to follow templates to make snowflakes that actually look like snowflakes!

Snowglobe

Now this next one is definitely one I want to have a go at before Christmas… super sophisticated Snow Globes – I love the idea of using bits of old jewellery in them to give them a nostalgic feel.

Festive Cinnamon Candle

Oh and of course our very own Cinnamon Candle tutorial from last week!  So stay warm my lovelies and let us know what projects your going to attempt this Christmas!
